Making a difference in the community

Welcome to the Lions Club of Canberra City. Together we can change the world.

Volunteering is critical to keeping communities alive and active. For over 75 years Lions Clubs have been supporting communities across Australia.

The Lions Club of Canberra City has been serving our community since 1958.  We raise funds in the community to finance our service activities and to provide support to local, regional, national, and international causes. We pride ourselves that every dollar that we raise in the community is returned to the community, and that the administration of our Club is funded by members. During the financial year 2022-23 Canberra City Lions returned over $33,000 to our Local, Regional, and international communities, while club members volunteered more than 1,050 hours of service to our community.

How can you help make a difference throughout the Canberra Region?
